    Yes, in the description, it does say that this is a “covering” for a quilt or duvet (I have no idea what a duvet is or why it needs a covering). It’s not a cover for a quilt or a duvet. I think you need to find one to put in. This is my misunderstanding. It’s pretty cool, though.

    To be honest, I was surprised that some of the other comments suggested it was a placebo. This is a duvet. Hasn’t anyone heard of it? Hahahahaha ! You unzip and put the covers in!! This material is thin because it covers your quilt and should not add extra volume. It’s good. These designs are cool. I can’t decide whether to order more or not because my cat keeps pulling holes in my duvet with his PAWS lol. These are good prices.

    This duvet is exactly what my son wanted! It’s perfect for his room! The material is soft and thin, but not bad. Put the duvet in. It feels great! He says it keeps him warm and he’s happy. The colors are beautiful, too. The details are good. It has a zipper housing and the upper is closed with a pocket. By the way, I wash all the bedding and linens in my house on weekends every month and so far this duvet has not faded. Just as beautiful as when I bought it just before Christmas.

    The material is thin and soft, but it sticks to my skin and makes me sweat. It is also very spacious/loose, and the king-size duvet insert I bought was lumpy and unfurled awkwardly inside. Honestly, I could probably insert one more, and then there’s room. So now I divide the quilt into layers – the duvet over the top, the duvet inserted in the middle, and the polyester quilt against my skin. The duvet covers and inserts had similar materials, and I noticed that they both absorbed the smell, and I had to clean them faster than the stuff I used before. I hope this information is helpful to someone.
